Bring an old WordPress up to date, no small print.
Why can't I just update from the WordPress dashboard?
On an up-to-date website, you can. On one that hasn't been touched in years, jumping straight to the latest version usually breaks something: a plugin that no longer exists, a theme that doesn't work with today's PHP. That's why we take it step by step on a copy and don't touch your website until everything works.
What exactly is the free review?
We make a copy of your website on our machines and try to bring it up to date. We tell you what we've done with each piece, what we would do and what isn't included. You don't have to pay anything to find out, and your website doesn't change.
Can I see the copy before I decide?
You see it after paying: it's your website already updated, password-protected and hidden from search engines. You check it at your own pace and, when you're happy, choose when we apply it.
What if my shop gets orders in the meantime?
None are lost. If your website changes between the copy and the day it's applied, we keep its database and apply to it what worked on the copy. During the few minutes it takes, the shop shows a maintenance notice.
What happens if something fails when it's applied?
Before applying it we create a restore point of your website. If something doesn't work as it did on the copy and can't be fixed there and then, your website goes back to how it was.
And afterwards?
So it doesn't fall behind again, WordPress maintenance checks it every 15 days for €9 a month.
Do I need to host with you?
Yes. If your website is somewhere else, we move it for free when you order any plan, and update it here.
