DDNS: dynamic DNS for domains without hosting
We have launched a new dynamic DNS (DDNS) feature that lets you manage domains and subdomains with a dynamic IP directly from the client area for domains with no hosting attached.
It is designed specifically for domains without a hosting service and adds advanced features that make it easy to set up and manage DDNS entries.
What is dynamic DNS?
Dynamic DNS automatically keeps a subdomain's IP address up to date when it changes, something very common on home or business connections with a dynamic IP. It is ideal for:
- Remote access to home or office servers
- NAS devices and storage systems
- Security cameras and monitoring systems
- Development web servers and personal projects
You do not need advanced technical knowledge. Everything is managed directly from your client area, in the domains section, with an intuitive, easy-to-use interface.
Multiple entries per domain
You can create up to 10 DDNS entries per domain, so you can set up different subdomains, each with its own dynamic IP:
- tuservidor.yourdomain.com
- nas.yourdomain.com
- dev.yourdomain.com
Full IPv4 and IPv6 support
Works with both A (IPv4) and AAAA (IPv6) records, adapting to any type of network connection.
Unique, secure tokens
Each DDNS entry generates a unique, secure token you can use to update the IP. Tokens can be regenerated at any time for extra security.
Enable and disable individually
You can enable or disable each DDNS entry independently without deleting it, keeping its settings for future use.
Automatic IP detection
The system automatically detects the IP the request comes from, although you can also set the IP manually using parameters.
