ImunifyEmail, a new layer in the fight against spam

The various mechanisms for fighting spam (SpamAssassin, greylisting, SPF checks, blacklists, etc.) are now joined by ImunifyEmail, a new layer of protection that analyses email content using a set of rules trained with machine learning.

Until now this system was used to analyse outgoing email, reducing the chance of a compromised account damaging your domains' reputation, but it has now been extended to analyse incoming email too, providing extra protection against spam.

Although it is still in beta, this antispam filter has proved highly effective with a low number of false positives, which will no doubt keep improving over time. ImunifyEmail is enabled by default and needs no additional configuration.

Filtered emails appear in the "Email" section of Imunify360 in cPanel, where you can take actions such as viewing the message or marking it as wanted. As mentioned above, the big advantage of this new system is its low rate of false positives, which makes constantly reviewing your email unnecessary.
