Higher process limit on hosting plans
As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the service, today we are announcing an increase in the number of concurrent processes available on several of our hosting plans.
Concurrent processes are a critical resource that determines how many operations your website or application can carry out at the same time. This increase means better handling of traffic spikes and smoother running of your applications.
In line with our philosophy of always offering the best possible performance and keeping resource allocation above the market average, the new limits are:
- Inicia plan: 20 processes, unchanged
- Webmaster plan: up to 25 processes
- Avanza plan: up to 30 processes
The improvement is applied automatically, at no extra cost, to all active services, so we can keep offering a quality service with the performance and stability we are known for.
Remember you can always check your service's resource usage from the new "service health" feature in the client area, where you will find detailed information on process usage and other resources.
Important: 1 process is not 1 user. Most of the processes involved in loading a website take fractions of a second and the process is then reused for other actions, so in practice, put simply, a limit of XX processes equals several times that number of concurrent users.
