YOURLS is a simple set of PHP scripts that lets you create your own URL shortening service, similar to TinyURL, but hosted by you. You can choose to make it public (anyone can shorten links) or private (only you manage the links). You can also customise the keywords of the short URLs or let them be generated automatically.

It includes a bookmarklet to shorten links easily from the browser, detailed statistics on clicks, visitor referrers and geographic location. The interface is simple and fast thanks to AJAX, and if you are a developer, you can use its API to integrate it with other applications. Installation is simple and friendly.
