What is CloudLinux
Each account, in its own box.
CloudLinux is a Linux-based operating system designed for hosting environments. Its architecture means that accounts hosted on the same node are isolated from each other, encapsulated with technology similar to that of virtualised environments (VPS).
That virtualisation achieves greater protection: in the event of a breach, an attacker could alter the affected service, but not the other accounts hosted on the node.
With CloudLinux we also achieve fair resource allocation: each service has an allocation of CPU, RAM and simultaneous processes it can't exceed, larger the bigger the plan. That control keeps the environment stable and stops a single user from abusing it and affecting the node's performance.
On top of that, its PHP control system lets you tailor the language to each project's needs, changing the version, configuration and active modules on the fly.

If a neighbouring website spikes, it stays inside its container: your account keeps its resources and its file system invisible to the others.
