JetBackup + Imunify360: automatic restore of infected files

Malicious code injection and malware are the main consequence of an attack on a website or web application. As you know, our efforts focus on keeping the chance of a service being compromised to an absolute minimum on the one hand, and on making sure your data is safe on the other, with a strict backup policy that safeguards the information you store on our infrastructure.

The next step was logical: combine the proactive security system with the efficiency of the backup system. With this new step, if the security system (Imunify360) detects that one or more files have been infected, it alerts the backup system in real time, which automatically restores the affected files from the most recent backup in which they were clean.

It also takes the extra step of temporarily locking the last safe restore point so that backup rotation cannot discard it.

Transparent measures, which require no action from the user and run in the background in real time, are the ones we always prefer wherever possible. The goal is to keep your projects safe without you ever having to worry about the complexity involved.
