PHP X-Ray, debugging performance issues in PHP applications

One of the main problems we face day to day is debugging performance issues in a website or application, whether custom developments or applications such as WordPress or WooCommerce. When a site is slow, finding the cause can be extremely difficult.

For some time we have been using the X-Ray tool to extract information from PHP processes, so we can analyse them and break down where the highest CPU usage or execution time comes from. As administrators, this tool gives us a clear picture of what is causing a problem on a website after a customer reports it.

But we wanted to go one step further and make X-Ray available from the cPanel control panel itself, so you can run your own analyses, not only when there's a performance problem but also when you want to improve speed and resource usage by finding the spots where performance is worst.
