QUIC.cloud, the most advanced CDN for WordPress

News 2 min read

QUIC.cloud is a CDN (content delivery network) service designed by LiteSpeed Technologies, the same company we trust with one of the key parts of our environment when it comes to delivering performance and speed for installed apps: the web server.

QUIC.cloud is designed with WordPress and WooCommerce in mind, a CDN that integrates seamlessly with LiteSpeed Web Server, LiteSpeed Cache and WordPress to deliver the best performance and security.

If you're wondering what a CDN is, it's simply a network of servers distributed around the world. Static files, such as images, .js files or .css files, are copied across that network. When a visitor accesses the website, the system works out which CDN server is closest or offers the fastest route, and uses it to deliver the content, so access speed improves wherever the user is. QUIC.cloud has more than 70 locations, and growing.

But QUIC.cloud goes further: it can also distribute the cache generated by LiteSpeed Cache, which means the dynamic parts (generated HTML) of pages are also served to the visitor from the CDN, with the resulting gain in access speed, all thanks to ESI (Edge Side Includes) technology.

As LiteSpeed technology partners, you can enjoy this service free of charge, with a selected number of PoPs (points of presence) across Europe, America and Asia.
