AJAX Chat is a free, open-source web chat system you can easily integrate into forums such as phpBB, MyBB, SMF, PunBB and vBulletin. It is built with JavaScript, PHP and MySQL, so it runs on virtually any modern web server.

You can create public and private channels, send private messages, use emoticons and BBCode, and customise the design with CSS. It includes useful features such as a list of online users, invitations, message and user control (kick, ban or ignore), history, multi-language support and compatibility with all modern browsers. You can also set opening hours and control spam, and integrating it with your existing user system is simple. It is ideal if you need a fast, flexible and secure chat for your online community.
