Ampache is a web application that lets you access and play your music and video collection from anywhere, on any device with an internet connection. It doesn't organise your files, but it presents them neatly if you already keep them well ordered.

You can browse your collection, sync local and remote catalogues, and listen to music in your favourite player, on the web with an HTML5 player, or control playback from other devices. As free and open-source software, you can install it and adapt it to your needs. It is ideal if you want all your music available anywhere without relying on external services.
