Castopod is an open-source platform for podcasters who want full control over their content and their community. It lets you host your episodes, manage your podcast and distribute it easily to platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify or Deezer using RSS.

What makes Castopod interesting is that it turns your podcast into its own social network: you can interact directly with your audience, get comments and share episodes on the fediverse, without relying on centralised services. It also includes tools to promote your episodes (such as creating audio and video clips) and built-in statistics that respect listeners' privacy and comply with regulations such as GDPR.
