Croogo is a free, open-source content management system (CMS) written in PHP and built on the CakePHP framework. It is ideal if you need to build and manage flexible websites, such as blogs, portals or corporate sites, without hassle.

You can define custom content types (blog, page, node), organise information with taxonomies and edit easily with a WYSIWYG editor that supports attachments. It includes threaded comments with moderation and spam protection (Akismet and recaptcha), a menu manager, blocks, contact forms and a full file manager. It offers SEO options (friendly URLs, meta tag control) and advanced user and permission management (ACL). Everything is managed from a simple web interface, and themes let you customise the design.
