Snipe-IT is open-source software for managing your organisation's IT assets easily, such as laptops, monitors or software licences. It is ideal for IT teams who want to know who has each device, where it is and its full history, from purchase to retirement.

Its main features include asset assignment and tracking, custom status management (for example, under repair or lost), email alerts for warranties or licences about to expire, integration with barcode and QR code scanners, and the ability to import/export data. It also lets you manage users with different roles, import from Active Directory or CSV, and log each user's full history. It is web-based, runs on Linux, Windows or Mac, and is easy to use from your mobile.
