Why Open Preprint Systems
Ready for today and tomorrow.
Open Preprint Systems (OPS) is an open-source platform for managing and publishing preprints, that is, preliminary versions of research papers. If you're a researcher, you can register, upload your manuscripts in PDF or Word and, once the manager approves them, share them quickly online so they're accessible and visible in search engines such as Google Scholar.
Its main features include fast, author-led publishing, flexible content organisation, fully online management and submission, and customisable review processes. It also integrates with academic services such as Crossref and ORCiD, is controlled locally and is backed by an active community. It's based on the same technology used by OJS and OMP, so it's easy to extend and adapt.
Available versions: 3.5.0.5, 3.5.0.4, 3.5.0.3, 3.5.0.2, 3.5.0.1, 3.4.0.9
