Proactive+ now available on all hosting plans

Since we recently launched Proactive+ as a feature exclusive to the Max plan, many of you have asked when it would be available on the other plans. Well, you don't have to wait any longer: from now on, Proactive+ is available on all hosting plans as an add-on service.

Why Proactive+ makes the difference

You probably already know the usual monitoring systems. They send you an email when your website goes down, you see the email (with luck) a few hours later, and you rush to try to fix the problem while your users run into errors.

Proactive+ works in a completely different way. We monitor your website every 60 seconds, and when something goes wrong, we get the alert and act straight away. You don't have to rush to investigate: we take care of everything while you get on with your day without worrying.

In other words, while other services tell you "hey, your website is down", we write to you saying "there was a problem with your website, and we've already fixed it".

What we've added

As well as making Proactive+ available on any plan, we've added some much-needed improvements:

Restore permissions: you can tell us "if something goes really wrong and you need to restore a backup, go ahead, no need to ask me". This is especially useful if something breaks at 3 in the morning and you'd rather wake up with the problem already solved (restoring backups will always be our last resort; whenever possible, we'll try to fix it without getting to that point).

Notes about your project: a field where you can tell us the important things about your website. For example: "careful with plugin X, it's fragile", "the database has a huge table that takes a long time to optimise", or "if something fails, better to restore than to touch the code". These notes help us a lot when we have to act.

Maintenance mode: turn Proactive+ off temporarily so we don't act while you work on your website and make changes that could make it unavailable for a while.

Simple pricing

If you have the Max plan, it's already included (up to 5 domains).

For the other plans, it's €2 a month per domain, and you can decide and change at any time which domain you want to use it on.

You set it up from your client area, in the Proactive+ section of your hosting.
